On Friday, January 12, 2018 at 22:00 UTC, all VIP Services will be instantly routed to our California (MTV) HA data center.

For environments utilizing DNS (i.e., using Symantec URLs built into VIP EG and components version 9.3 and later), no action is required. VIP services rely on Domain Name System (DNS) to deliver uninterrupted services to our customers for high availability activities as well as planned maintenance activities. As such, bypassing Symantec DNS and directing traffic to IP addresses is not in compliance with the overall VIP solution design.
